Cookie Policy

1. Purpose and scope

This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and equivalent technologies on this website (the “Site”), which is operated by Pravya Global. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
In this document, “cookie” means a small text file placed on your device by a website, and “equivalent technology” means any other means of storing information on, or gaining access to information stored on, your terminal equipment, including local storage, session storage and similar mechanisms.

2. Legal basis and the absence of a consent banner

Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the “ePrivacy Directive”), as implemented in national law, requires the informed consent of the user before information is stored on or accessed from their terminal equipment, save where such storage or access is strictly necessary for the provision of a service explicitly requested by the user.
The Site does not employ any cookie or equivalent technology for advertising, audience measurement, profiling or cross-site tracking. The measurement facility described in clause 4 of the Privacy Policy operates without storing or accessing any information on your terminal equipment.
Each of the items listed in clause 3 falls within the strictly necessary exemption in Article 5(3), or is stored solely at your election in order to give effect to a preference you have expressed. Accordingly, no consent is required and no consent banner is presented.
We do not participate in the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework or any comparable consent-signalling arrangement, because no processing performed by us requires consent under that Article.

3. Storage used by the Site

None of the above is used to identify a visitor, to construct a profile, or to observe a visitor across any other website.
The two local storage items are not transmitted to our servers and are not readable by us. They remain on the device on which they were created.
The Site sets no third-party cookie of its own accord and contains no advertising, retargeting or audience-measurement tag.

4. Embedded third-party content

Certain articles embed media hosted by YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, SoundCloud or Apple. Such content is delivered by the relevant provider and may cause that provider to set cookies or access information on your device, in respect of which that provider acts as an independent controller and its own cookie and privacy notices apply.
We apply the following measures to limit that processing: YouTube content is served from the youtube-nocookie.com domain; Vimeo content is requested with the provider’s Do Not Track parameter enabled; every embedded player is loaded only when it enters the viewport; and no player is instructed to begin playback automatically.
If you do not interact with an embedded player, the relevant provider receives only the request necessary to deliver the player itself. Interacting with a player is a deliberate act on your part, and the provider’s own terms then govern that interaction.
A browser extension that blocks third-party frames will prevent such content from loading. Doing so does not impair any other function of the Site.

5. Controlling storage

Every current browser provides settings by which cookies and site data may be inspected, blocked and deleted, whether generally or in respect of a particular website. Those settings are typically found under “Privacy” or “Site settings”.
Blocking or deleting all data associated with the Site will sign out any signed-in administrator and will reset the presentation preference recorded under clause 3. It has no other effect on the operation of the Site for a visitor.
Where your browser transmits a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, that signal is honoured as described in clause 4.6 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Amendments

We may amend this Cookie Policy from time to time. Should we introduce any cookie or equivalent technology requiring consent, this document will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented before that technology is deployed. The version in force is that published on this page.
